Ullis Ullis Wassgren has been living and working with us at Terça as a guide, riding instructor and groom since July 2007. She is a Swedish girl from Stockholm who started to ride horses at the age of 7. Her heart especially beats for show jumping. Before coming to Quinta da Terça she owned two half blood horses. With these she trained and competed a lot both in show jumping and dressage.Ullis has worked as riding instructor, trainer, stable manager and guide. Many of her summers she spent at Grällsta ridcenter working at summer riding camps. In her free time she likes to go out with friends. Ullis also tries to train her little dog Cookie and her pig Wendy to perform tricks. Sometimes she can also be found relaxing in front of the TV.

Nelson Nelson Bothelho is born and raised in São Miguel and has been working here at Terça since June 2006. He has studied for three years at the royal riding school of Alter Real in Lisbon, where he became a riding instructor, horse trainer, and a dressage judge. Together with Ullis he trains the horses at the farm, gives lessons, and does guided trail rides. Nelsons biggest interest at the side of horses is dancing, preferably to Latin American rhythms. Apparently indefatigable he whirls around singing in dance after dance as soon as an opportunity is given. Even in the stables you risk getting a dance with him sometimes, with the pitchfork in one hand and Nelson in the other. The rest of his free time he spends with tending to his five dogs of various breed and size.
