Finding your way here
The most common way to travel to São Miguel is by air. Lisbon is the gateway
for connecting flights to and from Europe and the world. There are daily flights from and to
Lisbon. The trip take approx 2 hours. Regular flights link the Azores to Madeira, the United
States and Canada. SATA-Air Açores has daily flights to all the islands.
Due to their geographical position, the Azorean islands are a favourite port of call for
Transatlantic cruisers and yachts.
