The most common way to travel to São Miguel is by air. Lisbon is the gateway for connecting flights to and from Europe and the world. Several airlines offer direct flights to Ponta Delgada, for example TAP, Ryan Air, Easy Jet and Sata. There are also daily flights from and to Lisbon. The trip takes approx 2 hours. Regular flights link the Azores to Madeira, the United States and Canada. SATA-Air Azores has daily flights to all the islands.
Due to their geographical position, the Azorean islands are a favourite port of call for Transatlantic cruisers and yachts.
From the airport it is a 20 minute drive to Quinta da Terça. We can arrange an airport transfer for you if required.
